Protect crews

LaneWarden Sentinel

Worker-protection trailer that alarms before a vehicle reaches the crew
In every kit

Overview

A mast trailer at the upstream end of the taper or flagger station. Tracking radar and AI cameras watch the approach; when a vehicle is on course for the work space or cannot stop for the flagger, it sounds a 110 dB siren and strobes, texts the foreman and saves the video.

Sentinel is the predictive layer of LaneWarden worker protection. It tracks every vehicle on the approach and asks one question many times a second: will this vehicle end up where the crew is?

The alarm logic runs on the trailer. Siren and strobes do not wait for a cellular connection or a server, and the alarm is logged with a video clip for review afterwards.

What it does

Sentinel at work

1

Taper crossing

A tracked vehicle crosses the taper line into the closed lane.

2

Intrusion trajectory

A vehicle's path and speed put it in the work space within a set number of seconds.

3

Too fast to stop

A vehicle approaches a flagger or automated flagger assistance device faster than it can stop in the distance left.

4

Alarm chain

Siren of at least 110 dB at 50 ft and strobes at the trailer, a text message to the foreman, and a video clip in Command.

Follow the intrusion alarm chain second by second, with the same rules the system runs.
